Thank you for shopping with Germandeli.com. We take great care in packaging and shipping your order to help ensure products arrive in the best possible condition. Please review the following shipping policies before placing your order.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. During holidays, sales events, or peak seasons, processing times may be slightly extended.
Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major holidays.
Refrigerated & Perishable Products
To help maintain product quality and reduce the risk of delays over weekends, refrigerated and perishable products are shipped only Monday through Wednesday.
Orders placed after our shipping cutoff on Wednesday may ship the following Monday.
This shipping schedule is designed to help ensure products arrive fresh and avoid extended transit times.
Shipping Methods
Shipping options are provided at checkout based on your location and the products in your cart. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated by the carrier service selected.
We strongly recommend expedited shipping options for:
- Warm-weather destinations
- Heat-sensitive products such as chocolates
- Large perishable orders
- Time-sensitive deliveries
Insulated Packaging
Perishable items are packed with insulated materials and cold packs when necessary. While we take every precaution to protect products during transit, transit conditions and temperatures are beyond our control once the package leaves our facility.
Warm Weather Advisory
Certain products, including chocolates and other heat-sensitive items, may be susceptible to melting during warmer months. Germandeli.com is not responsible for cosmetic damage caused by heat exposure during transit.
Customers are encouraged to select expedited shipping methods when ordering temperature-sensitive products.
Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and promptly refrigerating perishable products upon delivery.
Germandeli.com is not responsible for orders that are:
- Delayed due to carrier issues, weather, or unforeseen transit disruptions
- Left unattended after delivery
- Delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Damaged due to delayed retrieval from the delivery location
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure all shipping information is accurate before submitting your order. Germandeli.com is not responsible for packages shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
Additional shipping fees may apply for returned or rerouted packages.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of the packaging and products.
We evaluate shipping-related issues on a case-by-case basis and will work with customers to determine an appropriate resolution when applicable.
In-Store Pickup
Local pickup may be available for select orders. Customers selecting local pickup will receive notification when the order is ready.
Valid identification may be required at pickup.
Shipping Carriers
We currently ship using major national carriers, including UPS and USPS, depending on the products ordered and destination.
Carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, or operational disruptions are outside of our control.
