OMG… I have been looking for this type of bread for years. I lived in Germany in the early 60’s and fell in love with Commisbrot sold at the army commissary. You bread is the closest to that. I’m hoping to get it from regularly.

Paderborner Landbrot was my favorite growing up and this is a close second. Some butter, tomatoes and green onions and I am transported back to my childhood.

The Kommis Bread is good, but I would still like it darker as you have it in Germany and you expect when you hear "Kommis-Bread". You think soldiers eat heartier bread. Would be nice if you eventually get such a bread. Heidi Hoehn
