Nuernberger Long Sausages Pack of 6 (1.9 lbs.)

Made in California

Ingredients: Pork, Water, Veal, Non-Fat Dry Milk, Salt, Spices, Sodium Phosphate, Onion Powder, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein.

Stuffed in Sheep Casing.

Keep Refrigerated

Serving Info: This product is fully cooked in a natural casing. Try it pan fried or on the grill, served with Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, with your favorite German Mustard.

How to Cook: If frozen, defrost slowly in refrigerator (do not thaw at room temperature).To get the Bratwurst to a nice, dark brown color, brush them with beer before grilling or frying. To prevent the Bratwurst skin from splitting, heat them in hot (not boiling) water for 5 minutes. Fry them in a frying pan with a little oil or butter. For a different flavor, add fresh sage, rosemary, or oregano to the frying pan and brown the Bratwurst with the herbs.

Storage: If you plan on storing product, freeze upon arrival (up to 2 months) or eat within 7 days from original vacuum sealed packaging. If frozen, defrost slowly in refrigerator; do not thaw at room temperature.

These were a hit at my family Oktoberfest. Incredibly tasty and juicy. They brown up nicely and have a perfect look and feel that reminds me of being in Berlin. They're excellent in a hearty bun and covered in kraut.

Not the true Nurmberger sausage from Nuremberg Germany but still very good and larger. I’ll order again.

I sent these to my mom as a surprise because she texted me randomly and said she was craving some Rostbratwurst, which she used to eat in Germany all the time. And she loved the long sausages. I looked all over and found these. I sent them to her and she RAVED about how good they were. Just like the ones she ate back in the 80s in Germany. I live in LA and realized this shop is actually in California. I will be visiting in person as they have some of my favorite German childhood treats. The shipping was fast and fairly reasonable and the quality was wonderful. Will definitely reorder!
