Smoked German Bratwurst (3) per 1 lb.

Juicy, smoky, and savory, a smoked German bratwurst is a culinary masterpiece that packs a flavorful punch in every bite.

Ingredients: Course ground pork, seasoned with herbs & spices.

Serving Info:  This product is fully cooked in a natural casing.  Try it pan fried, boiled or on the grill, served with Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, with your favorite German Mustard.

How to CookIf frozen, defrost slowly in refrigerator (do not thaw at room temperature). To get the Bratwurst to a nice, dark brown color, brush them with beer before grilling or frying.  To prevent the Bratwurst skin from splitting, heat them in hot (not boiling) water for 5 minutes.  Fry them in a frying pan with a little oil or butter. For a different flavor, add fresh sage, rosemary, or oregano to the frying pan and brown the Bratwurst with the herbs.

    Awesome Smoked German Bratwurst

I cut up the Bratwurst and used that as the meat for my version of lasagna! With pepper jack cheese, mushrooms, peppers and special seasonings. Smoked German Bratwurst Lasagna! So good! You should try it. Next time I will try this Bratwurst thinly sliced on pizza instead of using pepperoni!
