Just like our 'THE ORIGINAL' Cassis, Cassis Zero is a traditional Dutch product that is made from blackcurrants from their own country, but sweetened with sweeteners for a low number of calories. As in 1938, the black currants for Hero Cassis still come from the fertile Zeeland clay soil (Heinkenszand and Lewedorp). After harvesting, they are destemmed, crushed and pressed. After that, some of the berries are subjected to a natural fermentation process (fermentation) in which hidden aroma and taste components are released. Hero cassis owes its full, round flavor to this. Hero Cassis Zero contains only natural sugars from the black currants and is further sweetened with sweeteners. So you have the taste of Hero Cassis but not the calories.
