Preparation instructions

Cooking pot: Place the desired number of dumplings in sufficiently cold and salted water. Let the dumplings swell for 5-10 minutes (turn occasionally!). Boil the water and let it boil for about 1 minute. Then let it steep for 15 minutes over low heat with the pan open. Quench dumplings in cold water. Open the cooking bag on a flap and serve. Bread dumplings in a cooking bag always work and can also be prepared individually.

    Semmel Knodel Almost Like Grandmom’s

    Very easy to prepare and very nice results. Served with sauerbraten, I envisioned being at my Bavarian grandparent’s dining table.
