Sufficient for a single cake base (1 bag) or a high (double) base (2 bags) in a fruit cake tin (Ø 26 cm) or for a Swiss roll (tray: 30 x 38 cm).

Basic preparation: Put
1 bag of baking mix, 2 eggs and 2 tablespoons of water in a mixing bowl and stir briefly with a hand mixer or in a food processor (whisk), then whip for 5 minutes on the highest setting.

Line the bottom of a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with baking paper (do not grease), pour in the mixture, smooth it out and bake for about 15 minutes.
Then let the base cool down, remove it from the edge of the springform pan with a knife, turn it over, remove the baking paper and continue using it according to the recipe.
Double cake base:
Put both bags of baking mix, 4 eggs and 4 tablespoons of water in a mixing bowl. Prepare the dough as indicated above and bake for 20-25 minutes. Then continue to use as desired.
